As an advisor, Lisa contributes to strategic initiatives, client relationships, and platform development for LOIS, the company’s site and building database platform. She is a recognized leader in the economic development profession with more than 35 years of experience working as both a practitioner and consultant.
In her previous position at Evergy, a Midwestern utility provider, Lisa spent 27 years managing the company’s economic development local partner investment program and its property tech platform, LOIS. Under her tenure, LOIS became one of the leading economic development site and building databases in the marketplace.
Lisa is a certified Economic Developer (CecD) and Economic Development Financial Professional (EDFP). She also serves is an active member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER), the Utility Economic Development Association (UEDA), the Missouri Economic Development Council (MEDC), and the National Rural Economic Development Association (NREDA). She also serves as a board member for the Heartland Basic Economic Development Course.
Lisa holds dual bachelor’s degrees in marketing and management from Missouri Southern State University. She enjoys gardening, traveling, pickleball, and spending time with family and friends.
