As Founder’s Associate, Sidney operates as a strategic partner to Founder Didi Caldwell, helping advance the firm’s highest-priority initiatives. She works at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving key projects, shaping executive communications, and ensuring seamless coordination across priorities. Sidney brings structure to complexity, aligning vision with execution in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Prior to joining GLS, Sidney worked with Central SC Alliance, where she led the end-to-end site selection response process for a nine-county region. She consistently delivered on tight timelines while positioning the region competitively, engaging directly with domestic and international companies, leading recruitment meetings, and presenting regional strategies to executives, investors, and global delegations. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the economic development landscape and the multi-faceted factors that influence site selection decisions.

Sidney holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Management from Clemson University and completed international business studies at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands. She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association (SCEDA) Institute. Based in Columbia, South Carolina, Sidney enjoys traveling, strength training, and spending time with friends and family.
