Shelby Zaricor

Senior Consultant

As a senior site selection consultant, Shelby advises companies on making informed location strategy decisions that drive growth and success. She takes the time to learn the client’s process, key drivers, preferences, and risks to address their location, logistics, workforce, and incentive needs and, ultimately, reach their goals.

Shelby has a passion for supporting the strategic growth of communities. She started her career working in local economic development in Mobile, Alabama with the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, where she assisted in the expansion and attraction of industries to Mobile County. Shelby most recently worked at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). During her time at VEDP, she was a part of the business investment team focusing on the recruitment of strategic industries across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Shelby holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in Economic Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a Certified Economic Developer (CecD) and a graduate of Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute. Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband Art and two dogs, either by a body of water or on the nearest patio.
