Gisel Chavez brings international experience in location strategy, investment attraction, and economic development to her role at Global Location Strategies as a site selection consultant. Prior to joining GLS, she served as a Project Manager at OCO Global, where she advised government agencies, economic development organizations, and corporate clients on economic competitiveness, market expansion, and cross-border growth strategies across North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Gisel has led complex consulting engagements spanning site selection, foreign direct investment, trade, and economic development strategy. She has worked with clients ranging from regional and national economic development organizations to multinational corporations, combining quantitative analysis with stakeholder engagement to deliver practical, data-driven recommendations that support investment and business growth..

Gisel earned a Master of Science in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Economics with a minor in Data Analytics from the University of Denver.
