Global Location Strategies (GLS) Founding Principal Didi Caldwell announced today that Katie Harris has been hired as Marketing Manager. In this role, Harris will apply her creativity and broad experience in economic development marketing to manage innovative marketing campaigns, coordinate sales initiatives, and serve as the liaison between the digital community and GLS.

Prior to joining GLS, Harris was the Marketing Director at Greer (S.C.) Development Corporation where she developed and implemented innovative marketing tactics and served as the liaison between GDC’s community partners and the city’s downtown merchants. Prior to that she served three years on the marketing team for JAXUSA Partnership, the 7-county economic development arm of the JAX Chamber in Northeast Florida.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Harris holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in public relations and graphic design with a minor in business.
